It Started With a Love for Pickles

Hi, I'm Amanda Crowley, and I have a confession:
I am completely obsessed with pickles.

Not just any pickles — the perfect kind. The crisp, flavor-bursting, straight-from-the-jar kind that makes you reach for just one more.

What started as a love for pickles eventually turned into something much bigger, but the journey to creating Piper’s Pure Pickles began with a life-changing moment.

The Moment That Changed Everything

In March of 2023, my world stopped when I heard three terrifying words:

“You have cancer.”

I went through a double mastectomy followed by full reconstruction. The healing process was long, emotional, and at times incredibly difficult.

During that time, my dog Piper became my quiet source of strength. Whether she was playing nearby or simply sitting next to me, she brought a comfort that helped me navigate both the physical and emotional road ahead.

A Commitment to Clean Living

Experiencing something like that changes you — and it changed me completely.

I committed to living cleaner, starting with the foods I ate. I removed processed foods and began focusing on simple, real ingredients.

But I ran into a surprising problem.

I couldn’t find a single pickle that was:

• Crunchy
• Packed with flavor
• Made with truly clean ingredients

So I decided to make my own.

From Frustration to Creation

What started as frustration quickly turned into a mission.

I put on my apron and started experimenting in my kitchen. After months of testing, brining, and perfecting recipes, something amazing happened.

The pickles were exactly what I had been searching for.

That’s when Piper’s Pure Pickles was born.

I chose the name to honor Piper, who helped heal my spirit during one of the hardest seasons of my life, and because I truly believe that pure, clean food has the power to heal the body.

From the Kitchen to Your Table

The raving reviews started pouring in from family, friends, and neighbors. People kept asking for more jars.

That’s when I knew I had something special.

I secured a commercial kitchen and officially launched Piper’s Pure Pickles so I could share them with even more people.

A Family Dream

One of the best parts of this incredible journey is having my daughter Ashlynn by my side as my business partner.

I hate the term step-daughter — she is my daughter, and there is absolutely no one else I would rather be building this dream with.

Together, we pour our hearts (and a lot of fresh dill) into every jar.
